I'm originally from India.. I sing bhajans, play the harmonium. I also teach a Sunday class on bhajans & chants to children near my town of Burlington, Ontario (Canada)
I generally listen to Indian vocalists and instrumentalists (+ some Krishna Das).. That is, till I stumbled upon Devaloka. There is real magic in your music.. It helped me deepen my bhakti like nothing else - Thank you for that blessing. May the Lord continue to inspire you.

Saw ya'll for the first time at Bhaktifest. Amazing. I was transported. Being from Thibodaux, I had made it point to be present for your Kirtan out at Bkatifest and was so glad I did. You are truly a blessing. I will come out to see ya'll again at Bhakti Yoga Shala on the 24th. Look forward to it! Namaste.

Hello. I recently discovered your music while in the Kripalu shop in Lenox, MA and it just blows me away. I love mantra but like more contemporary, grooving music. You are now my favorite band, previously I didn't have one!

If you have not experienced the sound and devotional expression of Sea Johnson yet, you are in for a very blissful treat. He brings the light into a room like a slow sunrise, literally, the tenderness in his voice is unlike anything I have ever heard before , and I have attended many Kirtan performances, including J Uttal's. Dear Sean and Company,
Thank you for filling the Coil Yoga Studio with wonderful, sweet energy that is still lingering there. I can still hear and feel the kirtan music even now. My hope is that you will return and that we can fill the space to the edges for you. As you may or may not know, I am recovering from major hip replacement surgery and arrived at the kirtan with some end of the day aching. After listening to your soulful music, I was able to sleep through the night comfortably. I hope you are aware at how much healing took place at many different levels. Thank you so much for bringing grace and love to all of us.
